For three years I have been visiting "Villa da Silva" in Madalena, Pico Island, Azores. The poetic touch of the hydrangeas around the building feels like a feminine ornament. Elegant, sober and perfectly divided to welcome the people who enter, make "Villa da Silva" an impressive accommodation. I spent happy days there admiring the superb landscapes of the Island, with its vineyards and fields, the richness of a generous sea, an unforgettable typical cuisine and a people worthy of respect and friendship. "Villa da Silva" is also privileged because from it we can observe the Mountain that gave the Island its name and with the naked eye we can appreciate the Island of Faial and its beautiful capital, the city of Horta. I already miss visiting "Villa da Silva" again.

Pico Island is endowed with natural beauties and more. We appreciated its beauties starting with the majestic Mountain, the culture of wines taken from vineyards planted on rocks, which were once consumed by the Czars, its cultural diversity as well as its lagoons and caves, etc. We loved staying for several days at "Villa da Silva" which provided us with a relaxing stay with all the comforts for a wonderful vacation. We visited the other two islands that complete the triangle, Faial and Sao Jorge. Islands worth exploring.

"Villa da Silva" is the same as saying, "Dream Villa". Seven days of pleasure. At dawn, the magnificent sunrise appears with the magnificent and imposing Mountain that peeks at us at every moment. At dusk, a bright and colorful sunset invites us to go out for the last day to watch a folklore show or go to one of the many good restaurants on the island for a delicious dinner. "Villa da Silva" offers maximum comfort with its excellent beds and everything needed for an unforgettable holiday. From the terrace we can observe the beauty of the neighboring city of Horta, as well as the green landscape of the island. In just one day we can visit the triangle, Pico, Faial and Sao Jorge, three stunning islands.

We loved our stay in Villa da Silva. The houses have a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Great place to spend an amazing vacation, where nature gives us a feeling of well being. From Villa da Silva we have a spectacular landscape, where the Pico Mountain stands out, one of the most beautiful in Portugal. Very well located in the village of Madalena, where we highlight its natural ocean swimming pools and vineyards. It has a permanent access by ferry to the islands of Faial and Sao Jorge.
